Overview
Diluc deals damage through normal attacks and his three-charge Elemental Skill, which does not share cooldown between casts. His burst infuses Pyro and summons a phoenix for AoE damage. Pair with Xingqiu for Vaporize or Chongyun for Melt, Crimson Witch 4pc amplifies reaction damage.
How to Play
Weave normal attacks between skill casts for the optimal E, N1, E, N1, E, N1, Q combo. Use burst for Pyro infusion and burst damage, then continue skill rotations. Diluc stays on-field for extended periods, protect him with Bennett healing or Zhongli shield.
Optimal Rotation
Xingqiu Skill/Burst, Bennett Burst, Kazuha Skill/Burst, Diluc Burst, Diluc E, N1, E, N1, E, N1, repeat. Refresh Bennett buff before it expires. In Melt teams, cast Chongyun skill before Diluc's on-field window.
F2P Options
Prototype Archaic or Serpent Spine work well. Crimson Witch domain is painful but farmable, Shimenawa 4pc is an alternative if you manage energy. C0 Diluc with Xingqiu and Bennett handles all story and Abyss content.
Common Mistakes
Casting all three skills back-to-back without weaving normal attacks loses DPS. Running Diluc without an off-field Hydro applicator wastes his Pyro potential. Using Chongyun with Diluc in Vape teams, Cryo infusion overrides Pyro. Building EM over CRIT without a dedicated reaction driver.
