Overview
Mona's burst applies Omen, a damage amplification debuff that increases damage taken by enemies. Her skill provides taunt and Hydro application. She has the highest burst cost (80 energy) and needs 200%+ ER. Thrilling Tales provides 48% ATK buff on swap.
How to Play
Apply Omen with burst before your DPS damage window. Use skill for Hydro application and taunt. In Morgana, Mona provides Omen before Ayaka bursts. For nuke teams, apply Bennett Pyro then Mona burst for Vaporize amplification.
Optimal Rotation
Morgana: Diona Shield, Mona Skill, Mona Burst (Omen), Venti Burst, Ayaka Sprint/Skill/Burst. Nuke: Bennett Burst, Kazuha Swirl, Mona Burst, swap. Use Thrilling Tales swap before DPS for ATK buff.
F2P Options
Thrilling Tales R5 is BiS and a 3★ weapon. Prototype Amber works for ER. Many players have C0 Mona from standard banner. Focus entirely on ER, Mona's personal damage doesn't matter for support builds.
Common Mistakes
Not building enough ER, Mona's 80 energy cost is the highest in the game. Bursting after DPS damage window wastes Omen amplification. Building Mona for personal DPS over ER and buffing. Breaking Freeze with Mona skill before Ayaka burst in Morgana.
